The New Regimen

So far so good. This past weekend Shelly was feeling really well. Went to Worcester area to visit some old friends. Stayed overnight and had a great time. Oliver? Not so great. He was chased around by an overly exuberant German shepherd and has been sleeping ever since (kidding).

Yesterday was the first of the new chemo schedule. Went well and she still feels well. We hope that it won't be too tough on her but we try to wring the best out of very day.

I posted something last night but see today that I wrote it in the wrong place (March 6th!) so I am reposting it now hoping you will see it. Back to classes today. Love, Alice -->
Hi Waxmans. I got back from my week away in Mexico late Saturday night. It was a great week and while I didn't get any of the sorts of "illnesses" that everyone warned me about, I did catch a lousy North American cold and have been fighting to get my work done for this week's classes. I was in Central Mexico and loved it all. If you are interested, I can send my "web album." (First time I ever created such a thing...)
Of course Shelly, I was disappointed to learn more of the 2 steps forward, one step back description of your struggle but reading that you are feeling good/ better is excellent news. I send you courage, love and lots of positive energy. Love, Alice
