For the past few days she has been coughing with some chest pain, has a sore throat and a plugged ear. Dr. B. thought it would be a good idea to examine her, get some blood work and maybe even a chest film since she has had a more powerful chemo. And that's what we did.
- The blood looks excellent,
- the film is normal
- and her chest sounds fine.
I guess people with lung cancer can still GET A COLD!
A big relief but not really a surprise. She'll be just fine in a few days. I really think it's an unconscious attempt to avoid taking Oliver out for his walks in these cold days. Where's Spring? We're all ready.

Sounds like another bit of unnecessary excitement if you ask me. Colds are lousy no matter what though - I have had a chest cold for the past four days and I wouldn't want to walk Oliver either. :)
Love, Alice
Sorry for the discomfort of a cold, but in ther big scheme of things, it is really not so bad, especially in light of the poor soon-to-be divorcee in the news of late, who is finding it difficult to survive on less than $53,000.00 a month, no there is an area of concern, poor thing!...Hang in honey and think Hilton Head come, October. We are going to drive to Chicago to morrow, Jeff and Joe are there and we are going to spend a few days with them . Love Unk E
News Flash! Believe it or not the broad I referred to, getting the divorce, said she needs $53,000.00 a week. ya, a week not a month, and you thought you had problrms!!!!!!!!!Do hope you are feeling better, love you, Unk E
