Shelly's Birthday

Today was Shelly's birthday. She's feeling fairly well but for some small issues but she hangs in. She had a visit from a good friend from back home in Massachusetts, Jill Bailey and her dog to keep Oliver company. In addition she had a very unique visit from someone that her sister Ellen, ever on the lookout for the unusual, enlisted. Ellen came across "Miss" Liberty who was doing some promotion for Liberty Taxes at 6190 Post Rd. in North Kingstown, 884-8293. She spoke with them and they kindly offered to let "Miss" Liberty come to Shelly's at no cost, with birthday flowers to celebrate her birthday.

This was a very generous and thoughtful gesture on the part of Liberty Taxes and we are grateful to them for making this a special event for everyone.

More chemo on Monday.

Dear Shelly,

Although I already wished you a happy birthday by phone, here is a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY by blog. I am so sorry that I haven't been on here in so long to keep in touch. Leave it to Ellen for such a crazy surprise. She always has a trick up her sleeve doesn't she? LOL Well, I love you bunches, take care and I'll be back soon.

Your little cousin, Jill

Hi Shelly,

Turns out that we share a birthday, but I didn't get a visit from Miss Liberty! Some people must have extra pull!

However, you have been specifically prayed for every day (well, OK, there has been maybe nine or ten days that we've missed in the last year).

Loved the video.....Congrats to Ellen
