In a nutshell, there are three choices:
1. She can do what she has been doing
2. She can add some targeted radiation to the lesion
3. She can reduce the frequency of her chemo, or even stop it
The interesting thing is that one of the world's best cancer centers couldn't tell us which would be best based on data they had! This was a real surprise and somewhat disappointing.
The good news is that the doctor felt that she was doing very well and all her signs were excellent at this juncture. Hard to believe that they had no numbers, no data for us that could help Shelly make a decision. I'll have to do some research.
At least she's felt good for the last few days.

Hi all, Sorry that you guys did not get some definitive guidance. You should have taken Ellen, she would have insisited on more decicive info,,,and If I were there I'd have put my "left' foot down. Oh well, I think you have to be thankful for all the positive sides of the meeting. There was still plenty good news in what was imparted. LOvE E
