Second Chemo Done

We're back after a really short and simple chemo today. Shelly feels pretty good and we are optimistic that this will continue as this newest med seems to evoke less of a response than her prior ones.

She still gets very annoying hot flashes but Dr. B gave her something that might help this too. The port made the IV a snap compared to her previous experiences and gets a big thumbs up.

It looks like you'll have to find some other form of entertainment since these reports are getting so boring.

Till next time,

Shalom

Hi .....Boring? that is really a JOKE!!!!these reports ARE the BEST entertainment I could ever ask for. I could never find some other form of entertainment to be as satifying, gratifying, and music to the ears, as when I read good news and results about Shelly and Heart-Attack Harvey, for that matter,,,,So you just keep those boring reports coming our way and keep us all happy Love UnkE

I disagree Ernie! This IS kind of boring. I am not saying that I don't like this most recent post. It is great news! But this type of news is kind of - well... you know, I mean, (that string of phrases was written for Harvey) not as stirring and disturbing as the reports from February. Helps keep our blood pressure down and spirits up. So you guys, (not), just keep the boring reports and good news coming! Love, Alice

Shelly,
We love boring so please keep the boring reports coming. However, it seems that your Dad, sometimes known as "Heart-Attack Harvey," (HAH), is bent on keeping our blood pressure at a fever pitch. Spoke with your Mom yesterday and all seems well, ...for the time being. My brother in S.C. is undergoing open-heart surgery as we speak, (write). Looks like a triple by-pass but will know more later. Will drop by to give your Dad a check-up soon. Will call ahead. Love, Hutch & Lore
