Second Chemo Follow-up
Shelly's chemo is sneaky. Took only a few minutes to infuse but the memory lingers on. She feels lousy, tired, washed out, sad, you name it. ('scuse the medical terms). Today she does seem somewhat better and let's hope that it means the effects of the chemo are wearing off.
The little ones (Joshua and Benjamin) are due in for the weekend and that will make things better I am sure.

Hi everyone. It is hard to read about, harder to watch and surely hardest of all to feel the effects of the chemo. I'm very sorry that the week was a bad one and hope Benjamin, Joshua and time have helped reduce the strength of these lousy days and that the next few days are sunnier in every way. But we are routing for the chemo, don't forget, and just wish it were a kinder friend. Sending lots of love, Alice (PS - I like the blog's new design!)
