It's been nearly a week since anything new has appeared here. Sorry.
The 4th of July was great - the weather cooperated, we were surrounded by friends and neighbors, and Shelly felt good. What more can we ask for?
Shelly's new regimen seems to be much easier on her. Except for a few days shortly after her chemo she continues to feel so much better. Still a few dips but generally much better than the prior chemo combination. She is walking into town more often with Oliver. He's the one with the hair.
Her port is also healing nicely and will make subsequent visits much more pleasant for her.
Thank you all.

Dear Shell/Harv, it sure is lonely for me here, all by myself every single day. Is there anyone out there who knows my neice and can share a little news with Unk E aka "lonely george"
What would I do without you Unk. E!!!
Tell Ty I say "hello"...it's so exciting!
Love you so much,
Shelly
Dear Ernie, It does indeed seem that we have all abandoned you. Since Shelly is doing so so well, we have only each other to talk about! May it continue just that way forever.
I am the lucky one this week since I'm headed to Rhode Island (via Debbie's) on Friday - will spend the weekend with J,H, and S - along with B. and O. of course. I'll see Shelly for the first time since February. Very happy about this and she has even agreed that despite the mostly sugar-free diet she is following, she will let me bring some lemon squares.
But I did ask Judy to explain what you (Unk E.) have been doing since the house details you were writing about were not clear to me. Sounds exciting and like a wonderful thing to be doing. Love to all, Alice
Dear Alice. I was beginning to feel like desperate and dateless, thank you for responding. Give Shelly an extra big hug for us. Ernie
Hi Shellbear,
Glad to hear you are well. We saw fireworks here up at the mall which is yes 4 yes minutes away from our home. Gianna remembered how loud it was last time. We saw them at a lake in spencer. So she insisted on wearing her "Hello Kitty" earmuffs tooo cute. We are off this Fri. to wells Maine for 5 days looking forward to it.
Thinking of you always,
Lee
