No news IS good news

Hello to everyone. Sorry there have been no posts recently...Good news from the Dr and feeling better renders me quite boring. Now that I'm on my 4th week without chemo I love feeling better! Went for a great walk with Ellen and our dogs this morning.

Going to meet some friends from my old job later. Might even have a drink or two. I found an internet community called "Planet Cancer" via Ellen (of course...who else?) which has proven to be wonderful. Lots of young adults with similar battles. I find their strength and courage remarkable. The dance of give and take with people who know from where I stand is something else let me tell you. Their spirit, humor and candidness, it helps to know I'm not alone.

So next Friday I'll have the port installed with the new (we hope less toxic) cocktail afterwards. I have no idea what will come after that...As soon as I know I'll let you all know.

Hi Shelly, Who would ever thought that boring would be good! So happy to hear you're getting around like you are. How wonderful. Missed all the blogs. Though I don't write often, do check in to see what's going on. Take care, keep walking, driving and have a drink or two (but not while driving) :>), Love. Cousin Sumner

Hi Shelly,

I hope you had a good weekend and I hope you did have a drink or two when you were out! Thinking of you and looking forward to seeing you as soon as we can find the right day/ date. Marc finally gets back home (back to North America that is, back to San Fran) on Wednesday after almost 6 weeks of business travel. Then we will see what happens next with his job. But he (and we) are thrilled that he will be "home." Love, Alice

Hi Shelly, Harv, Judy and assorted 4 leggers....not trying to be pushy....not my style....but tomorrow is 7 days since last blog update. I checked and according to the Constitution rules of Blogging, If longer than one week between blog updates occur the first warning is sentencing to one full hour of Clogging...and worst still a second infraction is 30 minutes of Flogging...A word to the wise/ Love Uncle E
