A very busy and wonderful weekend with the southwestern branch of our family. Shelly had a full if tiring few days but all in all feels pretty good.
Tomorrow it's up early to check on the brain tumors with a quick MRI and then the penultimate round of chemo (look it up :-). We'll report as soon as we know anything and once again, thanks to everyone for the wonderful support.

Dear northeastern family. It is sunny and cool by the ocean (after a rainy lousy day yesterday) and I am thinking of you all as always. My colleague (friend) Susan and I are working well but still have lots to do. Happily this is a good quiet place to work. Shelly, Fingers and toes crossed for good results today and for your penultimate round of chemo to be no worse than the last and as effective as the last four! Much love, Alice
