Not too much to report these days mainly because I'm feeling quite good.

We had a visit from my cousin Barbara yesterday which was just lovely. She flew in for the day from Philadelphia and by the time she got here (two hours late) we were lucky enough to have lunch and a nice long chat and then back to the airport she went. It was wonderful never-the-less.

Getting ready for chemo on Monday and a bonus MRI of the ole noodle just before, to check on the gamma knife surgery and make sure everything is as it should be. Maybe we will even see the lesions shrink a bit. As long as there aren't any new ones we're in great shape.

Sorry there isn't more exciting news...getting better and healthier is kinda boring and uneventful.

"Boring and uneventful" indeed. Just the way we like it! That's additional proof that you are on the mend. BCNU around the hood.

Dearest Shelly, My fondest wish would be to hear from you for the next 40 years, regarding your boring and uneventful health...of course by then I would be 105 so hearing anything would be quite impossible for me....Love you, and looking forward to a positive blog next week...Uncle Ernie

Hi Shelly, My life is a whirlwind at the moment so I haven't written for a few days. Barbara said you were fantastic and wonderful and so on. I knew that already but I loved hearing it anyway. I am spending next week (starting tomorrow) in a rented house at the shore with my co-editor/ friend working on the intro for our long over-due book but I'll have my computer and will stay tuned. I hope next week isn't too hard and that the good news keeps rolling in!. Lots of love to you all. Alice

Hi Shelly,
Sometimes boring is the best part of life because it usually means normal. We'll take boring! I am thinking of you and all the fun you'll have with the kids! It is so much fun to be an aunt!
Fingers, toes and eyes crossed for Monday!
