Shelly still has a real issue with appetite and eating. Nothing tastes good and she is losing weight slowly. Not of concern yet but she really is trying to stop the weight loss. Nothing tastes right so it's really a battle for her to keep up her nutrition.
Still, all in all, it was another good visit. And Oliver is just fine in case anyone was wondering.
Till next time.

Hello everyone! I've missed you. No news is usually good news but it does mean that we get to "chat" less. I love these good reports. And Shelly, I hope it isn't disrespectful to make a joke about your appetite but if only you and I could trade appetites for a few weeks, you could gain and I could lose, and we would both be happier! I'm glad Oliver is doing well too.
Love you!! Alice
Dearest Shelly, What good news. So happy to read it, I check everyday and there were no updates since 7/2 and I miss not hearing from you. How nice of Alice to offer to switch appetites...but remember , if you are even thinking of that, I am an "UNCLE", she is ony a cousin...YOU WILL TRADE WITH ME FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!get it? Oh well, the weather has turned delightfully cool 58 at night and high of 75 during the day and no humidity. Perfect weather for the weekend. And Sunday 12 to 5 is the store's housewarming party. Our little girl turned 40 on the 15th and tomorrow JEff is 43..SO take care and don't forget about Hilton HEad the beginning of Oct. You might tell dad to think about flights to book sometime in August, it is not too soon. And Ellen is also invited...Any more thoughts Shell?Don't forget when you wouldn't take me up on it in MArch, you said you needed more time to get used to the idea,,, Get used ..Love Uncle E
I just wrote an entry and it didn't get "published" but if this is a repeat (and if I can remember what I wrote) sorry for the repetition.
I wrote something like:
Dear Unk E. Who says that uncles are more important than cousins!?! :) I'd say that it all depends on personalilty and weight! You surely have me beat in humor (and I'm not touching the other topic) but Shelly says we are tied as her most frequent bloggers! Bottom line is I'm in good company and I definitely can't compete with Shelly's Uncle Ernie! Seems to me that this is a pretty good and mellow moment for Shelly so I hope you don't mind, Shelly, that I'm writing to your uncle instead of to you. And I'm going to see you (Shelly) this coming weekend! Hurray. Weather might not be good but my spirits will be high. Lots of love to everyone, Alice
Dear Alice and Shelly...I am so jealous that you will see Shelly and visit....Please give her an exta hug and kiss from me.Travel is just not in our budget with business as bad as it has been this year in real-estate, for me. I am lucky I have any money left to afford to keep purchasing lottery tickets, which I do 2 times a week, because I promised Shelly I would buy her a condo with a view of water, if I win the big one. So far I have about enough to furnish Shelly a pup tent near a puddle...Oh well Enjoy your visit.........and no appetite switching..Love to all, UNK E
