Transition
Shelly's feeling pretty decent, not perfect but certainly much better than before. Sooo...she decided it's time to strike out on her own. By September 1st she should be moved into a lovely one bedroom apartment not too far away, but far enough so we won't 'accidentally' be dropping by when we walk the dog. Very clever of her :-)
It's very well maintained, has a nice backyard, and has about 10 or so units. I think she'll be very happy there.
Next, a job

Way to go Shelly....Hope it is a short lease, as I still intend to buy you a place of your own instead of renting,as soon as I win the lottery..We did not win last night...nor did anyone else, so now the pot is 95 million...I would guess that taking the cash option and after taxes would be around 25 million, and I think that would be enough for me to take care of ourselves, Jeff, Jill set up college funds for the 4 grandkids and still have plenty for your new place, and a car too and in case you do not like the job you get, we'll just give you a bunch extra to have on hand, for travel and visits....So, any nos. you want me to play??Next drawing is Fri. the 22nd.Love you honey,UnkE
Dear Shelly, I just got back from 6 days on the west coast - first a friend's son's wedding in Oregon and then a few days with Marc. All good but a challenging trip - going to this wedding on my own, etc. and a bit exhausting. Marc turned 26 and is still trying to recover from 3 months of business travel. I hadn't read your news since the great RESULTS news from last week. And now more good news!! The apartment sounds great and I guess this means maybe I get to use your bedroom next time I visit your parents!! :) I am sure you are beyond thrilled that you will have your own place again. What is really the best news is that you are feeling "decent" as your dad tells it. A winning lottery ticket from Unk E is all you need now! Much love. Talk to you soon. Alice
