Shelly's Back
Shelly came back from Connecticut today after five days. She really enjoyed being with Benjamin and Joshua.
While the new drug is much less powerful than the previous one she still feels down. But she knows that it will take a few weeks for it to settle in and she feels she can endure it till then.
Next week is her last chemo in this latest round and then we wait for the test results the week after to determine what's next.
Fingers crossed. Oh, her hair is growing back but wouldn't you know, her nails are coming loose. #@+^*$#

Hi Shelly, Welcome home..Its great to visit the little ones , but it is also good to leave,,,I am really beat after Lexie and Andrew go home. Today Lexie called on my cell and said as fast as a speeding bullet without taking a breath. Papa,mommy told me your number and I dialed it all by myself but this does not mean I am adult I am still a grandchildren!.Out of the mouth of babes. So there you have it!Hope you will feel stronger each day and that your last chemo goes well. I am happy you are getting your hair back as for nails can you get some of those acrylic toppers? Just a little hi dear Shelly. The reports of how you are doing are sometimes frustrating to read - the "up" parts, and the "not-quite-up" parts - so I can only imagine how frustrating this feels to you. Please keep the faith and keep on trudging forward. Talk to you soon. Love, Alice
