Ready For Tomorrow
A pretty fair weekend for Shelly. She drove to Worcester (actually just outside of Worcester) to see her friend Jill and her family and had a couple of decent days. Maybe the meds are actually settling down. One big problem is that she is unable to sleep through the night and gets just a couple of hours' sleep at a time. It's after 9am and she's not up yet so I'm hoping that's a good sign.
Tomorrow she gets an MRI brain scan at 6AM and then her regular chemo - her last in the current schedule. Next week a cat scan and then we'll have to decide on what to do next. A lot depends on the MRI, the cat scan and the blood tests.
If the news is really good maybe she'll get her own place and find a job!

Hi Shelly, Hope you enjoyed your time with your friend, this weekend. I or rather we are sure crossing our fingers that you get the news from the upcoming tests MRI's etc that dad mentioned in his blog. You deserve only the best news and we are praying for it for you.Much love Unk E..Tomorrow Sallys's cousins are flying in from Phoenix for a few days of cold 85 degree weather instead of the 110 (but its dry) heat they are escaping.
" the 110 (but its dry) heat they are escaping."
I think a fire is a dry heat too :-)
Enjoy
Hi everyone, I was away for a few days. Back now and crossing my eyes, toes and fingers for tomorrow. Since you are feeling pretty good except for the meds, Shelly, I'm confident that the results will be good but I do know it all must make you anxious. I mostly want for you to be able to enjoy every day and not feel sick any day!! Love you, Alice
