It was a longer day then either of us expected but it's done and we're home.
The port procedure went well and took the entire 1 1/2 hours they said it would. Shelly then went to the chemo corral where she was connected without getting STUCK. Yeah!!!
The new drug took ten minutes to infuse but was preceded by several other bags of juice just as before which upped the procedure to an hour. Still lots faster than in the past and the new drug is supposed to have far fewer side effects. We do hope so.
After two more rounds we'll reassess our options but so far so good. Oh, and she had a real good blood pressure too which will make everyone's day I have no doubt. (She usually runs verrrrry low). Hey, be glad it's not a bowel report.
