Sorry for being so lazy and not updating you. The last few days have been a mixed bag, some days are good and some not as good. None has been awful and for that we are very relieved.
Shelly's upcoming schedule includes a brain MRI this week to evaluate the gamma knife treatment and next week another round of chemo - ugh.
We remain hopeful if not downright optimistic.
Shelly is giving up her apartment in Providence so we have to pack up her stuff and get it all moved to a storage facility. The apartment is on the third floor and is simply not practical for one recovering from lung cancer. It is a great apartment though. It's on Thayer street and is a really nice location should you know of anyone who might be interested.
Till next time.

Hi from Vermont,
Your Mom gave me a call to let me know all that has been happening to you. I read through the blog archive and it was like a miracle unfolding before me. I will pray that the MRI this week continues to show improvements. Believe. Our best to you.
The Puddicombe's
Thank you so much Puddicombe's!!!
All the best to you as well,
Shelly
Dear Shelly, The Spring came to Cincy today, 60 degrees and sunny. hope it is nice near you, too. Sorry you have to give up your place as I know how much you liked it. When you can travel you are always welcome here and the elevator make negotiating the floors a piece of cake. Keep up the good work honey. Love uncle E
Dear Shelly,
I will be thinking of you today when you are having your MRI. You have been an incredibly good sport about everything and unbelievably brave. I hope you know that I have real admiration for you!! I also hope you continue to get good news - and I believe that you will. Just as Uncle Ernie said, I know giving up your apartment was a hard decision (or if not a hard decision - just plain hard). It sounds like the right thing to do though. Your next apartment will be even better!! Lots of love to you, Alice
P.S. I don't want you to think I shut down the bakery but your mom said "no more lemon squares!"
You're so sweet Alice...
Any time you want to make lemon squares, I will eat them, that is a guarantee
Alice, Send the Lemon squares to 106 Beach st.!!!!
If they get low on Wright lane i can always bring some up the street.
Shelly, Will be thinking of you as always, but especially today. All good thoughts go with you!
Will be waiting anxiously to hear.
Love,
pam

My beautiful cousin Shelly,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. Let us know about the MRI, I just believe it's going to be more good news. I'm sorry about your apartment. I know what you're going through with that, but I know for me and I bet for you God has other things in store for us, we just don't know what they are yet. I love you.
your little cousin Jill
Hi Shelly,
Lore and I are following your progress with great interest. We're praying for another good day today. If those lemon squares happen to make it to 61 Lawton Ave., we'll ensure that Pam & Carl get ONE. Hang in there. Better days are coming, OR ELSE!
Hutch & Lore
