Shelly

Shelly drove herself to the treatment center for some blood work yesterday to check her white cells, to be sure she is able to have her second round of chemo on Thursday. She was very tired the rest of the day.

In the middle of the night she awoke with a terrible headache which scared the daylights out of her. She is haunted by fear that the cancer is responsible for any bad symptoms, and this fear, along with the headache, kept her from sleeping for the rest of the night.

This morning I contacted her oncologist and he said her white count was perfect and that her headaches were completely normal for anyone coming off the Decadron she was taking.

Shelly was so relieved. She's getting a well deserved sleep as I write.
