Much better day today. Prepping for tomorrow's chemo requires some pill taking for the next three days, then we wait another three weeks. We are hopeful these will be better than than the last three.

In the next week or two there will be another cat scan which will tell us how effective the chemo is. In the meantime we put one foot in front of the other.

bonjour dear shelly- i apologize for being off line for the past week or so. that doesn't mean you aren't always in my heart and mind. i know as you gear up for tomorrow there is a sense of dread. i'm crossing my fingers that it will not be as bad as you fear. and if it is, i wish you the same courage and strength as you've had all along. i just keep seeing your smile.

i plan to visit in the next few weeks. you'll pick the date. maybe for diversion you'll want to hear some of our wedding plans. it would be fun to discuss with you and get your input with your great creative ideas. we'll shoot for a time that is sufficiently pre-and post chemo when you should feel better.

my gentle big hug is always there.

love from me and from alan.

You're right Shelly. That is one of the most adorable pics. of Oliver and Buddy I've seen yet!

I love you and send you relaxation, peace and support for tomorrow's session.

Can't wait to rub your fuzz ball head on Friday!

Love,

Debbie :)

Hi again Shelly, Soooo, since this morning when we talked, I made the lemon squares but I didn't get them to the post office. I have to find a box and wrap them. They'll go out tomorrow before I leave for SF! Promise. The photo of the two "puppies" is really adorable. I'm glad they are getting along. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow. I found your saying that you have a love/hate relationship with your treatments pretty interesting! I know exactly what you mean. Wishing for the love part for you. Love you, Alice

Dearest Shelly

Uncle Ernie and I are enjoying our last day in the Arizona sunshine and we will return to reality somewhat tanned and ready to face
whatever.

I love the picture of the puppies but wondered how you ever got them to sit still?

I wish you a calm treatment day
and excellent results!

With love

Hi Aunt Sally,

The picture of the dogs was candid and they just were sitting together long enough for two shots at that. So cute.

Today went well...just a bit tired for now but my Dr. said that my breathing sounded very good and that he was "pleased" with what he heard.

I have a cat scan scheduled for next Wednesday to look at what's going on in there and I'm hoping for good results.

Oh, going away is nice as is the coming home but I know things are tough right now and it would be nice to stay in the warm sunshine.

I think about you all and I hope Jill is coping as well as she can, I do wish there was something I could do.

Much Love,

Shelly
