Shelly's going through a rough patch. Her symptoms are all related to the meds she's taking, not to her cancer. Still, it's frightening for her; yeast infection in the mouth, intestinal upheaval, and now a nice display of red spots all over her back and front. At least they aren't itchy. However they do take their toll and she has trouble sleeping at night so she's pretty pooped all day.
We'll get through this. You all continue to be so kind and we do appreciate it more than you can know.
And Oliver says
"Woof"

Although we expect the after effects of chemo, not easy, I'm sure. Just remember... this too shall pass. Nice hearing from you Oliver. Thanks for your thoughts.
Our thoughts are with you, we check every day.
Love,
Estelle and Sumner
Dear Shelly,
I'm glad that you have the water to look at, your parents to complain to (though I know you don't complain much) and your puppy to hug. Besides that, I hate that you have such unpleasantness and yuckiness to deal with. I am thinking of you as always and send you my daily hug and lots of love. Alice
Dearest Shelly, aunt Sally and I arrived in Az. today..so sorry for this extra discomfort you are now facing, I pray that this too shall pass. Love uncle Ern
Good morning Shelly. I hope (I really really do hope) that each day away from last week's treatments brings you a little more relief. And maybe the negative is also the positive - that is, that these disgusting chemicals are doing exactly what they are supposed to be doing while also wrecking a little havoc with how you feel. That's the goal and that's the hope!!
It is very cold here (17F) and I have a long day ahead but wanted to start the day by sending you love from Montclair. More soon. Love, Alice
Shelly

Just want to thank everyone for all you love and support your offered me through this time
I don't want to lump everyone in one group but right now in this moment I just have to say that all of the energy I am gathering from all the people near and far touch me in ways I would never have known or understood. There is power in it and I value it all
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I treasure you and can't thank you enough
Love,
Shelly
