A good friend and neighbor, Ed Nicholson, swam a mile in Narragansett on Saturday for "Swim Across America" to raise money for cancer research, partly in Shelly's memory. He's a spring chicken compared to me but I'm still impressed by his athleticism.

Shelly lives on , on a daily basis in Kentucky too. We have 3 photos in different areas of our greatroom and another with our kids pictures up in our bedroom. So we see her and think of her everyday....She had told Sally that she feared she would not be remembered...Sally told her that would never happen and it has not...she is remembered and thought of all over the country...Love Unk Ernie
