Done (well for now)

Just got back from Shelly's last radiation visit in this series and welcome the rest. Once the Cyberknife is done next month we'll vacation until January when there will be a scan to check up on things.

The radiation effects will continue to worsen for the next week or so and then subside slowly but all in all Shelly should start to feel better, and from what we can see, that looks pretty likely.

We're looking forward to Thanksgiving when we're here, together. There's much to be thankful for.

Hope you all enjoy the Holiday too and thanks for all the good wishes.

So sorry I did not see this until after Thanksgiving.Nevertheless we wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving and indeed we all have so very much to be thankful for, mainly for Shelly's corageous journey and battle, it is indeed akin to a war she is waging against a rotten underhanded enemy....but fortuneately the good guy in the white hat is winning. Yesterday Sally made a beautiful meal that only took 48 hours to prepare and in 45 minutes the vultures devoured it, but we still more to feast on tonight. Jeff is home and we are really enjoying his visit. In a few minutes Jill will be here with Andrew and Lexie, to sleep over so we will have a full house at the inn...Michael is home too so taking the little ones will be nice for her and Michael to have time for themselves. The older two are in Florida with their other grandparents, Guess that is all from here.So looking forward to or visit at Xmas, cannot wait to see and Hug my , "our" Shelly in person. Love E

Dear everyone, I got back from Philadelphia last night. Marc is flying to San Francisco directly from Phila. today. I am so sorry not to have been in Rhode Island with all of you for Thanksgiving. I hope it was a warm, good, happy occasion and that you, Shelly, had a pretty good day that day - and of course every day! What a year you have had. You are quite remarkable and endlessly courageous. I am sending love and hugs to you Shelly and to every one. Alice
