Matzoh Balls, Here We Come

Shelly was supposed to get chemo today. But her blood count was too low so they sent her home until next week. That means that she'll be able to go to the Passover meals with us in Connecticut.

There was also a conversation a little more serious. The tumor board met and they weren't certain that the brain tumor that was a tad larger on her last MRI was due to inflammation alone. Another MRI next week should help decide whether more gamma knife is in the future. Yuck.

But she does feel better than she has in the past and this week will be even better. She had a nifty weekend and a great dental checkup!

Hi Shelly, So glad that you had a nice visit in Worcester, and that you can look forward to a great Passover at Debbie's. Sorry to hear that gamma knife my be needed again, but except for the screw helmet gizmo it wasn't the worst procedure and it sure gave you over a year of good results..Look at me giving you medical bulletins, and I'm still limping after minor surgery on my two toes.Well honey enjoy the upcoming week and give our love to all. We will be thinking of you as we always do...Don't forget to think Hilton Head next October..Love Unk E
