MRI Results Wednesday
Mixed results. The MRI showed that a couple of the original bunch of brain lesions have changed but we aren't sure if it's tumor growth or a process associated with the original gamma knife radiation. In some cases the radiation produces swelling which could look like this. More sophisticated MRI is being scheduled. More gamma knife surgery is possible.
On the plus side one of the original tumors has completely disappeared. Good news. Dr. B does feel that the headaches are not a result of what he sees on the MRI but is not 100% sure.
So it's more of the same for now, until we know more. Shelly is scheduled for a special MRI on Monday, Oct. 6 and we should know more after that.
We're still on the roller coaster and Shelly still has headaches and is still scared.

Shelly and all of you are still in my prayers. I can understand her apprehension. Remind her that we still have a "lobster" date. Just tell Shelly to name the time - I only need 2 hours advance notice!!!

Hi everyone, Okay. New opportunity to mobilize the troops. Get out our power of love and positive thinking and go to town. But none of this is easy for any of you and I too understand how scared Shelly must feel. Roller coasters have never been my favorite but I'm hanging on for the ride along side of you. Love, Alice
