Thought I'd do an update since it's been a few days and my brother Ernie yelled at me for depriving him of reading material.

Shelly feels somewhat better than a few days ago. One issue is her difficulty in getting a good night's sleep. Her doc prescribed something that helped somewhat last night. As she gets farther and farther from her last chemo I'm sure this will abate.

Judy and I are going to a cousin's wedding in Philadelphia Saturday coming back on Monday. I expect another upswing in Shelly's mood and as proof, she asked me to pump up the tires on her bike. I don't know if she'll ride it but I got some needed exercise :-)

Benjo is still 'moored' on the front lawn. As was the case last year, I'm waiting for two mourning doves to get big enough to fly out of their nest ON THE BOW PULPIT OF THE BOAT!!!!!!! I forgot to put up a No Vacancy sign this year. Sigh.

Here's the mommy (or the daddy) sitting on the two chicks. Click picture for a closeup.

Dear Shelly,
Your uncle Ernie is so smart!
Listen to him. Have a blast.
Mom will keep dad in check.
Hey if he's so concerned about them doves, do you think he'd deprive his daughter from having a little fun. Take care.

California Cousin,

Sumner

Dear everyone,
It was wonderful seeing Judy and Harvey this weekend and hearing about Shelly first hand. I'll be away (out of the country) for the next 10 days so forgive me if I don't get to a computer - though I will try. I will be thinking of you Shelly - hoping the next (last?) chemo is not harder than the others and that each decision and test brings good news and positive results. I hope I'll get to see you in July. Much love to you all, Alice
