March 16, 2008

Well the weekend is nearing an end and Shelly's had a pretty decent couple of days. Friday, the day after her chemo, was her worst. Let's hope that the pattern holds up and she has more good days until her next chemo.

The weekend brought Debbie, husband Michael and Joshua and Benjamin. Saturday morning found the boys and their "Tauntie" snuggling in bed watching TV.

Update: I guess I spoke too soon and the chemo apparently has a mind of its own. Today ends up being a pretty nasty day and it's hard to watch. While we're sure the symptoms are associated with the chemo and not the cancer it is still disappointing.

Still we remain optimistic. On Wednesday Shelly is scheduled for a cat scan which will give an indication if any changes are needed in her regimen.

Shelly, Hope this is a better day for you. Having the kids there this week-end must have been fun.
This is another test to see if it appears on the blog, i must be doing something wrong, but i can't figure it..
Well, just know everyone and i mean everyone is thinking of you...
The tickets for the RISD auction"Going to the Dogs,"
arrived, they are only 250.00 a ticket so i thought your dad would be glad to treat us all for a nice evening. You can get back to us on that, no rush.

Well, let's see if this appears on the blog.

LOL,

Pam

My cousin Shelly,

Not a day has gone by that I haven't thought and prayed for you. I hope today was a better day for you after your Chemo last week. I really miss you, I wish that I could come see you more often, but I guess this blog will just have to do. It's better than nothing. Hey won't you let Uncle Harvey put some more pictures of you up on the blog? If not, I understand. How is it going coming off that decadron, are you still having effects from it? I hope you have a good 3 weeks until the next round. Shelly I love you with all my heart.

Love your little Cousin,

Jill
